Job summary

Early Warning in San Francisco is seeking a Lead First Line Risk Management, Technology to coordinate audits, exams and regulatory reviews across technology teams. You will gather materials, ensure accuracy, and prepare documentation for regulators.

You will drive audit readiness, implement process changes as laws evolve, and track remediation with senior leaders. The role requires building strong cross‑functional relationships and delivering timely, compliant outcomes.

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience actively leading external exams and audits and internal audits.
• Experience in security, governance, risk management, IT audit or related.
• Knowledge of key laws, regulations, frameworks (CRI) and guidance in financial services.
• Experience with Onspring, Jira, ServiceNow or other GRC/workflow tools.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Manage internal and external audits and regulatory exams: coordinate documents, gather materials, and monitor on-time delivery.
• Ensure relevance, accuracy, and completeness of provided materials; guide revisions where needed.
• Identify efficiencies in coordination with Compliance Regulatory Relations Program.
• Work with Compliance and the Business to implement program and process changes as laws evolve.
• Assist in comparing controls and policies to regulations; identify and submit gaps.
• Design and conduct audit readiness activities to reduce findings.
• Review policy updates and system changes and advise on regulatory impact.
• Complete projects for regulators, auditors, and the compliance department.
• Regularly report status to leadership and track remediation progress.
