The ARM Institute in Pittsburgh is seeking a Technology Project Manager to lead technical projects advancing robotics, AI, and advanced manufacturing. You will manage from initiation to closeout, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and compliance with contracts while coordinating with consortium members, government sponsors, and internal stakeholders.

This hybrid role requires strong program management skills, excellent communication, and the ability to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline as listed.
• 1+ year of experience managing technical projects or engineering programs.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, and risk management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present to diverse stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical projects from award through closeout within scope, time, and budget.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, and resources.
• Monitor performance, progress, risks, and financial status across the lifecycle.
• Coordinate resources and activities to achieve program objectives.
• Conduct regular reviews and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare mitigation plans for risks and schedule impacts.
• Report performance using technical, financial, and operational metrics.
• Engage with consortium members, sponsors, and internal teams to align on goals.
• Ensure timely deliverables, documentation, and reporting; support contract compliance.
• Contribute to process improvements and best practices across PM activities.
