Job summary

UW Information Technology (UWIT) seeks a Technical Program Manager to lead planning, governance, and execution of networking initiatives for the UW Medicine Network within UWIT.

You will develop multi-year roadmaps, manage budgets, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure secure, reliable, scalable network infrastructure aligned with institutional priorities. This is a hybrid role with occasional remote work as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in technical program management.
• Experience leading large, complex IT infrastructure or networking programs.
• Experience managing budgets and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and IT service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop multi-year network roadmaps, architectural standards, and technical roadmaps.
• Manage network projects, budgets, timelines, dependencies, and milestones.
• Improve governance, metrics reporting, and service delivery processes.
