Job summary

ING Financial Services LLC is seeking a Director, Technology Delivery and Portfolio Management in New York. The role oversees the technology portfolio, ensuring strategic, regulatory and business initiatives are prioritized, governed and delivered effectively.

The position partners with Finance on budgeting and leads governance forums. The hybrid work model supports in-office and remote flexibility, with a focus on delivering complex technology programs within a regulated financial services

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in technology delivery, portfolio management or program management.
• Proven experience managing a complex portfolio of technology initiatives.
• Banking/financial services industry experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of portfolio governance, delivery assurance, financial management and resource planning.
• Experience presenting delivery and investment information to senior executives.
• Understanding of Agile, waterfall and hybrid delivery approaches.
• Bachelor's degree in technology, business or related field or equivalent experience.
• Certifications such as PMP/PgMP/PfMP/PRINCE2/Agile desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the consolidated technology portfolio and delivery roadmap.
• Lead intake, assessment, prioritization and governance of technology initiatives.
• Oversee major programs, projects and regulatory commitments.
• Monitor scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks and dependencies.
• Develop executive dashboards and management reporting for CIO and governance committees.
• Coordinate technology budgeting, forecasting and investment tracking with Finance.
• Lead portfolio and delivery-governance forums with clear decisions.
