Xcel Energy is seeking a Senior Talent Management Consultant to advance year‑round talent planning and performance alignment across the enterprise. You will partner with leaders and HR to shape talent reviews, succession pipelines, and development strategies that strengthen leadership readiness and workforce capability.

In this role, you will guide the performance cycle, support goal setting, and drive data‑driven continuous improvement across programs, including engagement and leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in talent management, organizational development, HR consulting, or related roles.
• Experience with talent review, succession planning, and performance management.
• Ability to translate business priorities into practical talent solutions.
• Strong consulting, facilitation, and stakeholder trust-building skills.
• Ability to analyze talent data and translate insights into actions.
• Expertise in project and change management with milestone execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead year‑round talent planning, focusing on review and succession across the enterprise.
• Partner with leaders and HR to assess bench strength and close readiness gaps.
• Design development strategies to accelerate readiness of high‑potential talent.
• Guide the enterprise performance cycle: goals, quarterly reviews, development.
• Support ongoing performance conversations and aligned goal setting.
• Facilitate calibration to ensure fairness and alignment with priorities.
• Design tools to measure impact of talent programs and drive improvement.
• Collaborate across HR and business to deliver integrated talent solutions.
