Qualifications

• College Degree or progressive recruiting experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• Minimum two years recruitment experience and/or relevant business line experience.
• Strong sales ability, persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and engagements simultaneously.
• Ability to function in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Proactive approach and proven ability to remain diligent on searches.
• Experience identifying passive job seekers.
• Fast response time, consistency and success.
• Strong PC skills with internet experience.
• Superior consultative skills to influence decisions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert in talent attraction.
• Work with line managers to build talent pipelines, interview, qualify and recommend top candidates.
• Source and attract a quality workforce and maintain applicant flow for current and future needs.
• Counsel line managers on compensation packages.
• Negotiate, extend offers and close candidates.
• Adhere to regulations, policies, and data integrity.
• Build relationships with HR Partners, management and employees.
• Provide insights into market competition for talent.
• Attend job fairs and open houses.
• Collaborate with Associate Recruiters to ensure sourcing support.
• Handle special projects as assigned.
• Adhere to risk and regulatory standards; escalate issues as needed.
• Promote an environment of belonging and reflect the M&T Bank brand.
• Maintain internal controls and address audit findings.
