Job summary

Surgery Partners is seeking a Hybrid Recruiter based in Brentwood, TN to support end-to-end hiring, from screening and posting jobs to coordinating onboarding. You will manage ATS-driven workflows, coordinate offers, and liaise with candidates to ensure a smooth recruitment process.

Responsibilities include screening applicants, coordinating background checks, and collaborating with HR and department managers to plan openings. Strong communication and ATS proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 2 years recruiting experience; healthcare industry experience preferred
• PHR or equivalent certification preferred
• Strong communication skills, proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), and knowledge of labor laws
• Interpersonal strength, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet recruitment goals
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

• Screen applicants to confirm minimum qualifications and overall fit for the position
• Provide and discuss offer details for approved candidates, including offer letters, role benefits, requirements, and position specifics
• Attend meetings with HR management and department managers to plan upcoming openings and align on required qualifications
• Create and publish job postings that are professional, clear, and designed to attract qualified candidates across online and offline resources
• Confirm approvals and post requisitions in the company ATS
• Source candidates using networking, social media, and other targeted recruiting tactics
• Act as the liaison between the company and candidates by managing phone communications, answering questions, and coordinating candidate flow in the ATS
• Initiate background checks and pre-employment drug screens after offer acceptance
• Send detailed hiring information to the assigned onboarding specialist to support the onboarding process
