Job summary

Verista, based in Alameda, CA, seeks a Systems Engineering Project Manager/Senior Project Manager to lead cross-functional programs in life sciences. The role combines systems engineering with Agile/ Scrum practices to plan, schedule, and govern complex product development efforts.

You will coordinate across engineering, software, hardware, and quality teams, manage risks, drive milestones, and report on progress. Occasional travel to Alameda is required; a hybrid setup is offered.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business or related discipline.
5+ years of technical project or program management in product development/engineering/software/tech.
Experience developing and managing integrated schedules, milestones, risks, and stakeholder communications.
Experience facilitating cross-functional teams in fast-paced development environments.
Familiarity with systems engineering, product line engineering, and digital/model-based engineering practices.

Responsibilities

Lead program planning and execution with integrated project plans and milestones.
Drive cross-functional delivery across systems engineering, software, hardware, and quality teams.
Facilitate planning and governance to define scope, deliverables, and priorities.
Monitor performance, identify schedule variance, and coordinate mitigations.
Coordinate cross-project interfaces and stakeholder communications, escalating as needed.
Develop leadership-ready reporting and dashboards for project status.
