Job summary

You will perform requirements-based engineering, system testing, verification planning, and technical writing, coordinating with stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (science, technology, engineering, mathematics).
• Minimum 2 years of mechanical-systems-related engineering experience.
• Direct experience in requirements-based engineering activities (validation, derivation/decomposition, verification planning, qualification planning, testing).
• Ability to execute tasks with minimal oversight.
• Fundamental understanding of stress, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics and heat transfer.
• Organized approach to timely, quality work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mechanical systems integration and oversight with component and analysis teams.
• Support system architecture trade studies and present trades for cost, weight, performance, and risk.
• Develop and manage a set of requirements to satisfy customer needs.
• Create and execute verification plans; manage validation and verification activities.
• Plan and execute system-level tests including performance, environmental and vibration.
• Convey technical content to leads, customers, and management; produce technical reports.
