Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
• Minimum 5 years of mechanical-systems-related engineering experience.
• Direct experience with requirements-based engineering activities (validation, decomposition, verification planning).
• Ability to execute requirements tasks with minimal oversight.
• Fundamental understanding of stress, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage complex mechanical systems and subsystems.
• Coordinate with component and analysis teams for system integration.
• Lead system architecture trade studies and present trade analyses.
• Develop and validate requirements to satisfy customer needs and V-model practices.
• Create and execute verification plans and ensure design meets requirements.
• Prepare technical reports and coordination memos for stakeholders.
