Job summary

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in a technical field and at least five years of mechanical-systems experience, with knowledge of V-model, verification planning, and DOORS. This is a hybrid role with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of mechanical-systems-related engineering experience.
• Direct experience in at least one part of requirements-based engineering (validation, derivation/decomposition, verification planning).
• Ability to execute requirement-based engineering tasks with minimal oversight.
• Fundamental understanding of stress, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical systems integration and oversight.
• Support for system architecture trade studies with cost, weight, performance, and risk assessments.
• Develop requirements to satisfy customer needs (RBE).
• Create and execute verification plans to ensure design meets requirements (Verification).
• Plan and execute system-level tests (e.g., Performance, Environmental, Vibration).
• Clearly convey technical content to leads, customers, and management.
• Maintain traceable documentation (technical reports, coordination memos).
