Job summary

New Charter Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineer in Taunton, MA to design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot secure infrastructure and cloud solutions for clients. The role blends remote and on-site work with travel to client locations, requiring strong communication and escalation skills.

You will manage Microsoft 365 and Azure, maintain documentation, mentor teammates, and collaborate with Design and Professional Services to deliver projects on time.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or at least 2 years of network design and installation experience; or 1 year of network design/installation plus 2 years of software development, help desk or hardware maintenance experience.
• At least one relevant industry certification.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, servers and workstations; ability to configure and maintain environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-premises and cloud environments, including hardware and software configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Design, deploy, administer, and support Microsoft 365 and Azure services.
• Serve as escalation point for complex issues and assist with troubleshooting to resolution.
• Mentor junior team members and share knowledge within Service Operations.
• Maintain client documentation and connectWise records; participate in on-call rotation.
• Travel to client locations as required.
