Job summary

New Charter Technologies, LLC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to maintain and optimize client IT environments with emphasis on Azure server support, Intune configurations, and conditional access policies. The role requires daily travel to client sites across Los Angeles County, with hybrid remote work options and a starting compensation of $45/hr ($95K annual).

You will lead migrations, upgrades, and modernization efforts while collaborating with a seasoned technical team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, network administration, or infrastructure support, preferably MSP-focused.
• Hands-on experience configuring firewalls and networking equipment (SonicWall, Meraki, WatchGuard, HP).
• Willingness to travel daily to client sites and work onsite as needed.
• Certifications such as Cisco, Meraki, or SonicWall are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of migrations, upgrades, and infrastructure enhancements from planning to completion.
• Lead projects hands-on and manage weekly onsite client visits as primary technical contact.
• Design, configure, and support virtualization environments within infrastructure projects.
• Configure networking gear including firewalls, switches, VLANs, and ACLs.
• Provide L3 escalation support for complex issues beyond L1/L2.
