Job summary

Ntiva is seeking a Systems Engineer to drive project planning, design, implementation, and ongoing support for diverse client IT projects. You will collaborate with PMs and SSEs to deploy solutions, manage networks, AD, and cloud services, and maintain strong client relationships.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and hands-on technical expertise across Windows, virtualization, and security. The position is hybrid (about 70% remote) with travel to Chicagoland client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline; equivalent experience acceptable
• Certifications including Microsoft Role Based Certifications, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, VMware VCP, ITIL, etc.
• Experience with ConnectWise (Manage, Automate, Control), SCCM, or similar service management system
• MSP experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Deploy advanced technical solutions, including new deployments and service modifications
• Maintain minimum billable utilization of 80%
• Provide excellent support to customers remotely or onsite
• Execute complex migrations and configurations
• Document migration and infrastructure changes and prepare for steady state post-implementation
• Communicate progress, issues, and scope changes to stakeholders
• Design and build GPOs to enforce policies across organizations
• Install and configure virtual machines and hosts
• Build cloud and on-premises physical servers
• Configure AAD and Entra Connect to O365
• Troubleshoot advanced applications and servers
• Build/design networks including firewall and wireless configurations
• Deploy high-availability infrastructure and backup/recovery technologies
• Provide input for project planning
