Job summary

Eliassen Group in Westlake, TX is seeking a Systems Analyst to join the Workplace Investing Technology team supporting the Defined Benefit platform. The role translates complex business needs into scalable solutions, improves data integrity, and supports platform performance in a collaborative, iterative delivery environment.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years as a systems analyst with ALM and production support
• Experience with financial systems, recordkeeping platforms, retirement/benefits administration; Defined Benefit preferred
• Ability to translate business processes into epics, stories and requirements
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex business rules into technical solutions
• Proficiency with SQL for data analysis
• Understanding of REST, SOAP, JSON; reading Java/Spring code preferred
• Effective written and verbal communication with stakeholders
• Experience in iterative delivery environments with shared ownership
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure preferred
• Experience with data governance, reconciliation and audit processes preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into user stories and backlog items
• Perform complex data analysis and data mining across recordkeeping systems
• Design, document, and maintain system flows, data models, and integration patterns
• Support design and documentation of API contracts and integrations
• Develop understanding of end-to-end DB platform architecture for impact analysis
• Support production issue triage, root cause analysis, and SQL/Java/Spring based troubleshooting
• Contribute to iterative planning and continuous improvement to improve delivery quality
