Blue Shield of California is seeking a Systems Analysis, Consultant within the Provider Operations team. You will translate business strategies into standards, requirements, and designs, balancing value, risk, cost, and compliance to drive operational excellence.

You will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders across the solution lifecycle—from discovery to testing, implementation, and continuous improvement—fostering leadership and continuous learning within a hybrid workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 4 years of relevant experience
• 7 years of prior relevant experience
• Experience with enterprise architecture concepts and integration patterns
• Experience with relational databases, reports, data mining, testing, and project participation
• Strong governance and quality discipline with traceability and documentation
• Proven ability to drive alignment on scope and outcomes with senior stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Drive alignment on scope, priorities, dependencies, and measurable outcomes
• Define end-to-end process/integration/data flows aligned to enterprise standards
• Analyze business unit functions to determine application and information systems use
• Develop strategic plans for technical requirements including needs analysis and process redesign
• Prepare detailed program specifications and coordinate system installations
• Own analysis and solution design across multiple systems/domains for programs
