Job summary
Rolls-Royce Corporation is seeking a System Safety and Reliability Engineer in Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid – 3 days onsite). You will ensure safety and reliability attributes across the product lifecycle and lead risk assessments and technical governance for power & propulsion systems.
The role requires multi-disciplinary collaboration and experience with safety tools. The ideal candidate has advanced degrees in math, actuarial science or engineering, US citizenship, and security clearance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science or Engineering with 2+ years of experience
- Master's degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science or Engineering
- JD/PhD in Mathematics, Actuarial Science or Engineering
- To be considered for this role, you must be a US Citizen
- must be eligible for a security clearance
Responsibilities
- Ensure safety & reliability attributes are understood across product lifecycle
- Lead assessment of design solutions and architectures for safety & reliability
- Develop and deploy models at component, system and asset levels
- Support in-service phases with safety & reliability documentation
- Coordinate safety governance and risk assessments
