Job summary

Spotlock is seeking a Survey Project Manager to own and lead complex land surveying projects, especially in heavy construction layout. You will perform and review heavy calculations and produce precise drawings with AutoCAD Civil 3D while coordinating with field crews and clients.

The role blends field coordination with technical drafting and team leadership in a collaborative environment, with room for mentorship and professional growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in land surveying or related field.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (required).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• Licensure (PLS or SIT) preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage surveying projects from start to finish with heavy construction layout focus.
• Perform and review heavy construction survey calculations for accuracy.
• Prepare and refine drawings and surfaces using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Coordinate with field crews, clients, and internal teams to meet timelines and budgets.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff.
