Kids Care Dental & Orthodontics is hiring a Surgery Center Coordinator to join our team in a hybrid, full-time role across all KCDO locations. You will coordinate new patient visits, insurance benefits, and treatment scheduling while ensuring a friendly, family-focused experience for children and parents.

The position requires experience in a dental front office or oral surgery setting, strong communication skills, and comfort discussing financing options with families.

Qualifications

• Previous dental front office experience and/or oral surgery experience highly preferred.
• Knowledge of Dentrix or Planet DDS Denticon a plus.
• Clinical sales experience preferred.
• Experience giving technical or clinical presentations in treatment presentations.
• Requires strong financial acumen; experience discussing payment options and financing terms.
• Able to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion.
• Must love working with children and provide excellent customer service.
• Clean, neat professional appearance and strong organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills; team player who can multitask.
• Must be proactive, reliable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Call new patient consults two days in advance to ensure receipt of information and answer questions.
• Prepare insurance benefit information for each patient prior to visit.
• Greet families in a polite and professional manner.
• Provide consultations in a private area for parent questions.
• Make all financial arrangements per company guidelines.
• Set up initial treatment appointment and follow up on treatments.
• Review schedule daily/weekly/monthly and manage open times.
• Communicate scheduling needs with CPMO and doctors as needed.
• Submit pre-authorizations when applicable.
• Thank referrals from Kid's Care doctors.
• Maintain confidentiality of business and patient information.
• Perform other duties as needed by Kids Care Dental & Orthodontics.
