Qualifications

• Experience in areas such as insurance support, importation, logistics, contracts, finance, billing, or other detail intensive professional environments.
• No adjuster license required; opportunity to enter international trade and logistics insurance.
• Top candidates will have demonstrated experience in high quality, professional customer support following established procedures.
• Demonstrates ability to learn complex processes and handle high documentation volume.

Responsibilities

• Proactively contact importers and brokers to gather claim documentation and initiate files.
• Identify suspicious or concerning claims activity and create a ticket for review.
• Communicate details of claims activities to Bond Underwriting team.
• Escalate with recommended intent-to-terminate on delinquent bonds when warranted.
• Make basic claim payment recommendations based on guidelines.
• Send emails with claim reports before final deadlines to clients and brokers.
• Record proof of payment and other claim documents for mitigation of claims.
• Escalate and forward files to Claim Specialists (adjusters).
• Coordinate collateral verification and terminations notifications for delinquent bonds.
