Job summary

GDM Seeds seeks a Supply Planner for our Westfield, Indiana facility. You will translate forecast demand into executable supply plans, partnering with sales, production, and logistics to balance inventory and fulfill customer orders.

The role requires four days onsite and one remote day per week, with commuting distance to Westfield, IN. Bachelor’s in a relevant field and 3 years in logistics are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Agriculture, or equivalent experience.
• 3 years’ experience in logistics and supply chain processes preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and meet MVR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and analyze customer sales and supply data to refine supply plans.
• Coordinate with production, operations, logistics, and sales to project supply.
• Manage day-to-day supply planning within inventory guidelines and SAP.
• Monitor ATP performance and finished goods availability.
• Collaborate with sales support and logistics to address shortages or surpluses.
• Participate in regular business meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze data, identify root causes, and propose next steps.
