Job summary

GDM Seeds, a leader in plant genetics, seeks a Logistics/SC Analyst to optimize distribution networks, planning transfers, and manage warehouse capacity. Role requires collaboration with Customer Service, Operations, Finance, and IT, and is onsite 4 days a week with one remote day in Ottawa, Kansas.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in logistics or supply chain analysis, strong data analysis skills, and knowledge of DOT regulations. Six Sigma is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, finance, accounting or related field.
• 5–7 years in logistics or supply chain analysis preferred.
• Experience in shipping, logistics, or inventory planning is preferred.
• Six Sigma is a plus; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret logistics data to manage product transfers meeting customer needs and budgets.
• Manage warehouse and logistics network capacity for continuous throughput.
• Develop freight cost models and act as logistics liaison with Finance.
• Maintain logistics master data, reports, and documentation for compliance.
• Support cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
