Job summary

GDM Seeds is seeking a Supply Planner to translate forecasted demand into executable supply plans and align inventory with commercial goals. You will partner with sales, production, and logistics to drive on-time fulfillment, leveraging data analytics and SAP for production orders.

The position requires four days on site at the Westfield, Indiana facility and one remote day weekly, with a bachelor’s degree and 3 years in logistics or supply chain preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Agriculture, or equivalent experience.
• Three (3) years’ experience in logistics and supply chain processes is preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and meet MVR requirements
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective planning and priority setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and analyze customer sales and supply data to refine supply plans.
• Integrate key supply assumptions from production, operations, logistics, and commercial teams.
• Manage day-to-day supply planning activities within inventory guidelines and SAP.
• Monitor ATP performance and inventory status to support customer fulfillment.
• Collaborate with sales support and supply chain teams to track metrics and act on shortages or surpluses.
• Participate in regular business meetings and provide updates for the supply based on the crop cycle calendar.
• Engage in continuous improvement for current and long-term operations strategies.
• Analyze data, draw conclusions, and recommend next steps.
• Research discrepancies and perform root-cause analysis.
