Leidos is seeking a Substation Protection & Control Engineer for our Pittsburgh, PA office. You will design substation protection and control projects from 12kV to 500kV, applying digital logic, AC/DC circuits, and wiring diagrams.

Hybrid or remote options available for those located in Pittsburgh or within the client territory (PA, WV, OH). Responsibilities include relay design, panel layouts, BOMs, and design QC, with opportunities for PE licensure support, PMP development, and leadership

Qualificações

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
2+ years of substation P&C design or testing/commissioning experience preferred.
Ability to read and design P&C drawings: one-lines, three-lines, AC/DC schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Willing to travel to project and client sites.

Responsabilidades

Design relay one-lines, three-line AC schematics, and DC protection schematics.
Create panel layouts and wiring diagrams.
Develop bills of material.
Perform QC checks on wiring designs. Support projects from scoping through final design and construction.
Apply NESC requirements and client standards to each design.
Work with a designer/drafter to produce project drawings.
Interfacing with Local Clients and partnering with utility clients nationwide.
Collaborate across disciplines to ensure successful project delivery.
