This role emphasizes protection and control design, high-voltage layouts, and client interaction with a focus on delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

You will develop BOMs, equipment specifications, and perform design reviews, while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent is required.
Minimum 5 years related work experience in electrical substations or related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred or required where applicable.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate electrical substation design activities across projects.
Develop protection and control design deliverables including relays, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Prepare equipment specifications and Bills of Materials (BOM) for procurement.
Budget, schedule, and quality management for assigned design packages.
Mentor junior team members and ensure adherence to B&V quality standards.
Coordinate with clients, vendors, and project teams for design reviews and field coordination.
