Job summary

Covista is seeking a Student Finance Systems Programmer/Developer to deliver system, reporting, and analytics solutions aligned with business needs. You will be the liaison between business and technology, translating requirements into scalable applications while collaborating with external vendors and internal users in SDLC-driven projects.

This role supports a hybrid work schedule (four in-office days) and offers comprehensive health and retirement benefits, including a 6% 401k match,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years IT/software development business analysis experience.
• SQL writing/coding and Google Cloud Platform usage.
• Strong experience with .NET WinForms/WPF apps (C#, VB.NET) and SQL Server.
• Experience with higher education sector.
• Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, RightNow) and SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Develops requirements and specifications for enhancements to existing applications.
• Participates with project teams involved in defining, developing, acquiring and implementing new software applications.
• Maintains a standard level of user documentation.
• Assists with the development of user acceptance test plans and certifies test results.
• Reviews proposed technology initiatives and computes ROI.
• Helps business operations utilize information systems to improve efficiency.
• Partner with system developers to translate business requirements into scalable, user-friendly applications.
• Completes other duties as assigned.
