Job summary

Covista is seeking a Student Finance Systems Programmer/Developer to deliver system, reporting and analytics solutions. This role will support system programming, document requirements, and work with business units to optimize processes.

The position serves as the primary liaison between business and technology teams, translating requirements to technology groups. A wide degree of creativity is expected as you translate business needs into scalable applications, while maintaining data standards

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years IT/Software Development business analysis experience.
• SQL writing and GCP usage.
• Experience with .NET desktop applications (WinForms/WPF) using C# and VB.NET and SQL Server.
• Experience with higher education and CRM tools (Salesforce.com, RightNow).

Responsibilities

• Acts as IT liaison between business and technology teams.
• Develops requirements and specifications for enhancements to existing applications.
• Participates in defining and implementing new software applications.
• Maintains user documentation and test plans.
• Supports data and reporting initiatives across business units.
