Job summary

Intel Corporation in Hillsboro, Oregon, is seeking a Facilities Development Engineer to design and develop critical facilities infrastructure for semiconductor manufacturing. You will create steel pedestal foundations for 300MM tools, draft layouts in Revit or AutoCAD, and collaborate across teams to enable smooth equipment startups.

You will contribute to Master Design Specifications and drive efficiency, safety, and energy improvements within the facilities footprint.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in a structural field with internship or project experience.
Proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD.
Familiarity with US building codes ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC.

Responsibilities

Design and oversee the development of steel pedestal structures for permanent fab foundations supporting 300MM manufacturing tools.
Use CAD modeling tools to create/refine structural layouts in line with US codes.
Pilot and refine construction practices via engineering experiments.
Collaborate with suppliers to qualify and improve facilities equipment and systems.
Develop and maintain Intel Master Design Specifications (IMDS) and operations docs for facilities infrastructure.
Partner with internal stakeholders and global supply chain teams for tech transfers and startup processes.
Perform operational analysis to improve efficiency, energy use, and safety.
