Job summary

Intel Corporation in Hillsboro, Oregon is seeking a Design Administrator to enable and support engineering design environments, automation frameworks, and AI-driven workflows. You will deploy and manage EDA tools (Cadence Virtuoso, Calibre, ICV), automate repetitive tasks, and partner with CAD, infra, and vendor teams to improve productivity.

You will build user guides, resolve tool issues, and drive continuous environment improvements for the design teams across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience or Master's with 2+ years or PhD with 1+ years.
• 2+ years hands-on experience with EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Calibre, IC Validator.
• 2+ years software development and scripting using Python, Shell, TCL, or Perl.
• Experience with GitHub, Git, and version control workflows.
• Experience in Linux/Unix environments and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support engineering design environments for layout, verification, and tech development.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve productivity and reduce manual work.
• Deploy, configure, and support EDA tools and related infrastructure.
• Manage GitHub repositories, branches, releases, and workflows.
• Create DevOps and CI/CD solutions for engineering and software deployment.
• Troubleshoot user issues related to EDA tools and environments.
• Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and drive improvements.
• Support engineering databases, library administration, and access controls.
• Evaluate AI-enabled solutions to boost productivity and workflow efficiency.
