Job summary

Novax Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Project Manager - Structural Steel in Virginia. The role oversees steel projects from preconstruction through fabrication, delivery and erection, focusing on budget, schedules and contractor coordination.

You will coordinate detailing, shop drawings and erection activities across multiple projects, including data center and commercial steel work, while collaborating with GCs and fabrication teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in structural steel and/or miscellaneous metals industry.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong planning, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple structural and/or miscellaneous steel projects.
• Coordinating detailing, engineering and shop drawing activities.
• Monitoring fabrication schedules and material requirements.
• Coordinating deliveries, erection activities and field requirements.
• Managing project budgets, schedules and change orders.
• Forecasting project costs and monitoring financial performance.
• Maintaining communication with General Contractors and other project stakeholders.
• Working closely with fabrication/shop teams and field operations.
• Identifying potential issues during detailing and fabrication before they reach the field.
• Supporting project closeout and overall contract delivery.
