Job summary

Novax Recruitment Group is seeking a Project Manager to oversee steel projects across Virginia from preconstruction to field erection. You will coordinate detailing, fabrication and delivery, managing budgets and schedules while maintaining strong communication with General Contractors and project teams.

This office-based role offers flexibility around where the candidate is based in Virginia, with a potential three-day-per-week in-office arrangement depending on project needs and client

Qualifications

• Previous Project Management experience in the structural steel and/or miscellaneous metals industry.
• Experience coordinating detailing, fabrication and field erection.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and communicate with General Contractors.

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple structural and/or miscellaneous steel projects.
• Coordinating detailing, engineering and shop drawing activities.
• Monitoring fabrication schedules and material requirements.
• Coordinating deliveries, erection and field activities.
• Managing project budgets, schedules and change orders.
• Forecasting project costs and financial performance.
• Maintaining communication with General Contractors and other stakeholders.
• Collaborating with fabrication and field teams to resolve issues.
• Supporting project closeout and contract delivery.
