Job summary

Walter P Moore is seeking a Project Manager to lead structural engineering projects in the Downtown Houston environment and coordinate with clients nationwide and internationally.

The ideal candidate will have 8–12 years of experience in commercial building design, a Master's in Civil Engineering (Structural), and a Texas P.E. license or the ability to obtain licensure within six months. A proactive, client-focused professional will thrive in our hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in relevant commercial building design.
• Demonstrated career growth that includes project management experience.
• Master's in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural.
• P.E. in Texas required, or ability to attain licensure within 6 months.
• Proactive, with strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a client-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering projects in the firm’s Downtown Houston office environment and collaborate with clients nationwide and internationally.
• Maintain high energy, be self-motivated, and work effectively within a strong team. Provide proactive communication and responsiveness to client and project needs.
