Job summary

Walter P Moore seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead its Structural Engineering group in Downtown Houston. The role requires 8–12 years in commercial building design and proven project-management experience on projects over $25 million.

The candidate will coordinate with architects, developers, institutions, and contractors, manage client relations, and deliver on-time, within budget. The firm supports hybrid work and encourages a can-do attitude and proactive communication.

Qualifications

Job description

Walter P Moore has an immediate opening for a Project Manager to join our dynamic Structural Engineering group in our Downtown Houston office. The qualified candidate will have at least 8-12 years of relevant experience working on design of office buildings, healthcare facilities, sports venues and other large commercial structures with construction costs of $25 million and up. Project management experience is required.

The qualified candidate should possess a high energy level and be a self-motivated project manager who can work within a strong team environment, serving clients on major projects throughout the United States and internationally. Technical specialization, proactivity and aggressiveness when meeting client and project needs, are pluses.

Clients will include architects, developers, institutions, and contractors. In addition to all the skills listed above, the qualified candidate should possess a strong “can-do” customer service attitude.

An additional $50 monthly stipend will also be provided to cover ongoing home office expenses.
