Job summary

Walter P Moore seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead its Structural Engineering group in Downtown Houston. The role requires 8–12 years in commercial building design and proven project-management experience on projects over $25 million.

The candidate will coordinate with architects, developers, institutions, and contractors, manage client relations, and deliver on-time, within budget. The firm supports hybrid work and encourages a can-do attitude and proactive communication.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in relevant commercial building design.
• Demonstrated career growth that includes project management experience.
• Master’s in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural.
• P.E. in Texas required, or ability to attain licensure within 6 months.
• Proactive, strong organizational skills and client-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management on large commercial structures and supervise design teams.
• Coordinate with architects, developers, institutions and contractors.
• Deliver projects within schedule and budget, with strong client focus.
• Travel as needed and manage multiple projects across the U.S. and internationally.
