Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Structural Design Technician to support our Advanced Manufacturing Data Centers team across the United States. You will develop and update structural drawings and models for hyperscale data centers, coordinating with engineers, designers, and project teams.

You’ll use 2D drafting and BIM tools like Revit and AutoCAD to support coordination and quality reviews. Depending on experience, you may lead design work packages, follow standards, and share knowledge with teammates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years drafting/design experience in the structural field.
• At least 1 year of Revit.
• At least 3 years AutoCAD design experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update structural drawings and models for hyperscale data centers and other mission-critical facilities.
• Coordinate building systems and existing conditions to produce clear construction documents.
• Use 2D drafting and BIM tools including Revit to support project coordination and quality reviews.
• Lead design work packages when appropriate, follow project standards, and share technical knowledge with teammates.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary teams across the United States.
