Zusammenfassung

AECOM is seeking a Structural CAD Specialist III to support our Energy Practice in the United States. The role involves 3D modeling of structural items in Advance Steel, CAD drafting for substations, transmission, and renewable energy projects, with remote/hybrid options and collaboration across offices.

Qualified candidates will have high voltage CAD experience, Revit design skills for substations, and a willingness to work in a team with strong communication.

Qualifikationen

• BA/BS in Engineering or related field + 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Experience in high voltage electrical CAD design
• Masters degree preferred
• Experience in Revit 3D modeling for Substation Design
• Experience in BIM execution plans or model matrix
• Knowledge of Omni Class and WBS applications
• Familiarity with NEC and other relevant codes
• Experience with Navisworks/Revizto and coordination environments

Aufgaben

• Develops 3D models of structural items using Advance Steel and extracts views for drawings
• Performs routine and complex drafting assignments with judgment and recommendations
• Uses CAD software to scale and edit assignments to meet deadlines
• Utilizes Navisworks to view discipline coordination models
• Uses Recap to work with laser scans
• Trace sketches from designers using CAD software (AutoCAD/Advance Steel)
• Follows standardized procedures to achieve results and deadlines
• Receives limited instruction on daily work and new assignments
