Job summary

Novate Solution’s Inc. seeks an experienced Controller to lead the finance and administration functions for a technology-driven industrial services firm in Reno.

You will manage general ledger, project accounting, billing, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and strong internal controls. You will supervise a small team, collaborate with engineering and operations, and drive process improvements, ERP migration, and cost controls to support growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting experience in project-based/service environments.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial controls.
• Experience leading a small finance team and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger, project accounting, A/R, A/P, financial reporting and internal controls.
• Lead billing, invoices, and cash collection processes.
• Develop and monitor KPIs for billing, WIP, and cash flow.
• Coordinate financial audits and ERP migration.
• Support executive decision-making with forecasting and modeling.
