UL Standards & Engagement in Evanston, IL (hybrid) is seeking a Standards Project Manager to drive development and implementation of safety standards across a diverse portfolio. You will coordinate activities across teams, forecast needs, and manage the lifecycle of standards projects to ensure on-time, high-quality deliverables.

The role emphasizes collaboration, risk mitigation, and adherence to regulatory frameworks, with opportunities to influence program expansion and stay ahead of industry

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years related work experience.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Strong understanding of standards development processes and regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to execute end-to-end processes independently.
• Experience leading small project teams or workstreams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage standards activities to enable development, implementation, and continuous improvement of safety standards.
• Lead project segments and forecast needs.
• Coordinate lifecycle activities and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
• Support complex technical committees with tools and next steps.
• Drive collaboration within the team to achieve goals.
• Organize and present information to internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for program expansion and ensure evolving safety standards.
• Stay aware of industry trends and regulatory requirements.
