Job summary

UL Standards & Engagement is seeking a Standards Project Manager for a hybrid role with offices in Evanston, IL; Raleigh-Durham, NC; or Ottawa, Canada. You will support a diverse portfolio of safety standards and drive the development and implementation of projects to advance safety, security, and sustainability.

You’ll lead project segments, forecast needs, coordinate interdependencies, and collaborate across teams to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of standards development processes and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience managing timelines, scope, and resources.
• Ability to execute end-to-end processes independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage standards activities to enable development, implementation, and improvement of safety standards.
• Lead project segments and forecast needs across the lifecycle.
• Coordinate interdependencies and drive collaboration across teams.
• Organize information for internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for program expansion and evolving safety standards.
• Stay current with industry trends and regulatory requirements.
