L.E.K. Consulting is seeking a Staffing Resource Allocation Manager in Boston to coordinate staffing across six U.S. offices. You will align client engagements with consultant development, manage assignments, and build trusted relationships with senior leaders.

The role sits in HR, reports to the COO, and requires handling confidential information while supporting workforce planning and staffing initiatives. A hybrid schedule and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5 years in management, operations, or talent management.
• Experience in a professional services firm preferred.
• Ability to analyze complex situations, negotiate, and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Manage work assignments of consulting staff to match client needs and staff development goals.
• Establish strong relationships with senior leadership to address staffing components of engagements.
• Proactively identify staffing solutions and scheduling issues as they arise.
• Monitor project budgets and ensure proper resource levels and timelines.
• Maintain weekly staffing sheets for revenue recognition and accuracy.
• Support workforce planning for US offices by identifying trends and gaps.
• Collaborate with Partners on sector talent initiatives and goals.
• Provide information on current and future client engagements.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee issues; build trust with staff.
• Participate in performance reviews to understand development needs.
• Coordinate with Career Development to align allocations with growth goals.
• Contribute to other HR-related projects as necessary.
