Tectonic Engineering Consultants, Geologists & Land Surveyors, DPC is seeking a full-time Staff Surveyor to join the Brandon, FL Survey Department. Hybrid work arrangement with opportunities for growth into project management and advancement.

The role involves performing field surveys and office computations, boundary and topography work, and coordinating field equipment. Requires 4–6 years of survey experience and proficiency with AutoCAD and related tools.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of survey experience.
• Must have construction layout computation experience.
• Knowledge of survey practices and computations.
• Experience with Leica scanners is a plus.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD 2020+ and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• HS Diploma or equivalent; surveying degree is a plus.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license for field site visits.

Responsibilities

• Perform field surveys and office computations using collected data.
• Produce boundary and topography surveys, plans, cross sections, and profiles.
• Research deeds, maps, and utility information; verify records for boundary determinations.
• Prepare computations, reports, and plats for accuracy.
• Coordinate field equipment setup and data collection; monitor survey technology.
