Tectonic Engineering is seeking a full-time Staff Surveyor for our Brandon, FL office. You will perform field surveys, office computations, and boundary/topography work, with opportunities to grow into project management. Ideal candidates have 4–6 years of survey experience and proficiency with AutoCAD and Leica equipment.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of combined survey experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Must have construction layout computation experience.
• Working knowledge of survey practices and computations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of survey equipment; Leica Scanners experience a plus.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD 2020+ and Civil 3D; Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform and draft field surveys and office computations from collected data (boundary, topography, plans, cross sections, profiles).
• Research deeds, maps, and utility records; analyze data for boundary determinations.
• Prepare computations, reports, and plats for completeness and accuracy.
• Coordinate field monitoring equipment and setup; perform site fieldwork as required.
