Job summary

DDS Engineering and Surveying, LLP seeks a skilled Project Surveyor for a primarily office-based role with occasional field work in MA/PA/NY. You will handle boundary surveys, ALTA filings, and topographic projects, processing data and drafting with industry software.

You will collaborate with licensed surveyors, CAD drafters, and engineers to deliver precise survey deliverables and support infrastructure projects. Field tasks are possible as needed.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of land surveying experience with strong boundary survey expertise.
• Experience in deed research, monumentation, and certified plats.
• Ability to draft accurate metes and bounds and ALTA descriptions.

Responsibilities

• Process survey data for boundary, topographic, and utility deliverables.
• Perform point cloud processing and 3D modeling.
• Conduct sUAV aerial photogrammetry to produce orthomosaics and terrain data.
• Draft survey maps and exhibits using Civil 3D, Map 3D, or MicroStation.
• Prepare precise legal descriptions for boundaries and easements.
• Coordinate with field crews and engineers to ensure data accuracy.
• Engage with clients to clarify requirements and deliver on time.
• Maintain project documentation and quality standards.
