Job summary

Dewberry's Panama City, FL office is seeking a Survey Crew Chief to lead field crews in boundary, topography, ALTA, right of way, and construction surveys for public and private clients. The role requires outdoor work, travel, and meticulous data collection.

You will perform fieldwork, assist with survey computations, and support project teams on transportation projects. A minimum of 5 years of survey experience and proficiency with Topcon Total Stations and Leica GPS are expected, along with

Qualifications

• 5+ years of survey experience as a crew chief or lead
• Associates or Bachelors Degree in Surveying preferred
• Ability to operate Topcon Total Stations and Leica GPS systems
• Familiarity with FDOT EFB data collection
• Must be willing to travel and work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Physical ability to perform field duties and lift 50 lbs
• Must pass background checks and drug testing
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Perform boundary, topographic, ALTA, right-of-way, and construction surveys
• Lead field crew and coordinate field activities
• Assist with survey computations and data collection
• Work outdoors on diverse terrains and weather conditions
• Travel for out-of-town assignments as required
• Support preparation of project deliverables and reports
