AppGate is expanding its AI Platform & Infrastructure team in New York City, building a greenfield cloud and AI infrastructure. You will own platform design, CI/CD, observability, and security, while mentoring engineers to scale the team and capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience operating production systems at scale (8+ years for staff, 12+ for principal).
• Greenfield infra/CI‑CD buildout—foundational decisions, not just operation.
• Observability across APIs, cloud services and distributed systems.
• Security-minded infrastructure and deployment workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with guardrails and rollbacks.
• Operate Docker and Kubernetes clusters, including stateful services.
• Automate provisioning with Terraform and Helm.
• Instrument monitoring, logging, and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana and ELK; define SLOs.
