Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Early Career Staff Accountant for a large logistics company in Plano, TX. You will assist with balance sheet reconciliations, prepare key journal entries, and contribute to financial analysis under the guidance of an Accounting Manager who is a strong mentor.

This hybrid role requires three days in the office per week and offers clear path for professional growth through hands-on close processes and ledger maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2–3 years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and written skills for effective collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Assist in balance sheet reconciliations and perform thorough financial analysis.
• Generate and file month-end reports to support timely close and management review.
• Monitor revenue performance vs. projections and adherence to budget figures.
• Prepare essential journal entries including fixed assets and accruals.
• Maintain ledgers by posting account transactions and ensuring audit readiness.
