Community Choice Financial® Family of Brands in Plano, TX is seeking a Staff Accountant to support monthly close, journal entries, and reconciliations within a hybrid work model.

The role requires a strong GAAP foundation, advanced Excel skills, and accurate financial reporting. You’ll contribute to audits, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration while benefiting from robust training and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.
• At least 3 years of progressive experience with general ledger accounting.
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP and accounting requirements.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables.
• Ability to understand and use advanced lookup formulas and data analysis in Excel.
• Oracle skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Record daily journal entries and monitor account status.
• Prepare and record key month-end journal entries.
• Perform monthly analyses and reconciliations of assigned accounts.
• Support ad hoc reporting needs and requests.
• Ensure financial information published is accurate and timely.
• Reconcile, investigate, and resolve discrepancies; coordinate with others as needed.
• Provide audit documentation and support for requests.
• Complete special projects as assigned by Management.
