Job summary

Inn-Flow is hiring a Staff Accountant in Raleigh to support complex accounting tasks and oversee bookkeeping services for hospitality clients. You will work with customers, ensure accurate financial data, and guide Bookkeeping Service Agents.

The role requires 2+ years in hotel accounting, knowledge of USALI and GAAP, and strong communication. This is a hybrid position with in-office Tuesdays and Thursdays, offering growth in a fast-growing hospitality tech company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of hotel or hospitality accounting experience in staff roles such as staff accountant, controller, finance director, or back-office bookkeeping.
• Experience leading or supporting month-end close for hotel portfolios with ownership of deadlines.
• Strong understanding of USALI and GAAP accounting principles.
• Excellent communication, ownership, and stakeholder management.
• Commitment to client service and confidentiality.
• Strong organizational skills and ownership over work.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to validate accuracy of core accounting services.
• Develop clear, repeatable guidance for Bookkeeping Service Agents.
• Review invoice entry and coding; certify weekly bank reconciliations.
• Review monthly financials including balance sheet and P&L; manage journals and closing reports.
• Support customers with complex accounting requests and financial analysis.
• Assist with onboarding of new clients alongside Implementation and Client Success teams.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and service enhancements.
• Collaborate with teams to support client growth and platform integration.
