Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• Minimum of 2 years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger accounting.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and general ledger accounting.
• Experience with month-end close and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and large data set analysis.
• Experience with ERP accounting systems; WinTeam is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries and other GL adjustments.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate reconciling items.
• Support month-end, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Maintain schedules for prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accruals, and other balance sheet accounts.
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with revenue and expense accruals and variances analysis.
• Prepare schedules for external audits and tax filings.
• Support accounting for leases, fixed assets, prepaids, commissions, and related areas.
