Enact Holdings, Inc. in Raleigh, NC is seeking an Accountant to support financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting operations. You will prepare journal entries, reconcile ledgers, and assist with close processes on a hybrid schedule at our Raleigh headquarters.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Accounting with 1–3 years in accounting, strong GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel, and a collaborative, detail-oriented mindset. CPA or candidate preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 1–3 years of accounting, financial reporting, or related experience.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record general journal entries and support close processes.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and research discrepancies.
• Support SOX and MAR compliance activities.
• Monitor cash and suspense accounts and prepare related entries.
• Assist with AP functions and processing payments.
• Support GAAP and Statutory reporting and audits.
